The promotional advertisement of the Gaudí Year wins a Silver Lion at Cannes International Advertising Festival
On Friday 21st June, the international advertisement of the Gaudí Year won one of the Silver Lions at the 49th Cannes International Advertising Festival, considered the most important in the world.
The creative team of Tandem Campmany Guasch DDB is responsible for the promotional advertisement featuring black and white images of nature which evoke different Gaudinian references. The visuals of the campaign, which include the Gaudí's motto "Originality consists of returning to the origin", focus on this idea to show another way of approaching his work.
Gaudí was an architect, but also a thinker, humanist, naturalist, designer, town developer The communication campaign promotes the idea that there is a Gaudí beyond the façades of the Sagrada Família or Batlló House. A surprising Gaudí, much richer, multifaceted, extraordinary and, to a great extent, unknown. A Gaudí to be explored; this is why the slogan promises "A whole year to discover Gaudí".
In the last two years, Tandem has occupied the leading position as the most awarded agency in Spain and, since 1980, has belonged to the group DDB, considered the most creative at an international level.
