Gaudí in Paris in 1910

26.2.2002 - 31.3.2002
Escola Superior d’Arquitectura,
Universitat Internacional de Catalunya

The present exhibit dedicated to Gaudí's work is a recreation of another, previous one, which took place in the hall of the Societé des Beaux-Arts of Paris from April 15th to June 30th, 1910, thanks to the support of Eusebi Güell. This exhibit presented photographs, plans, drawings, and models of various buildings, among which the Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Família, Park Güell, and the Palau Güell stand out.
Based on works from the Reial Càtedra Gaudí, some photographic copies stored in Arxiu Mas (Mas Archive) of Barcelona, and a model of the Sagrada Família, an effort has been made to show as faithfully as possible what the exhibit in the French capital --the only one that was held abroad during the architect’s life-- was like.
