Gaudí’s Workshop. Gaudí and his Atelier

From 25-10- 2002
Museum of the Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Família. School building

This didactic exhibit explains Gaudí’s use of geometric shapes in architecture during his final years, when he worked in the studio-workshop located in the Sagrada Família, using models and computer drawings. There are virtual images of the Sagrada Família and a reproduction of his table-desk.
The videotape explanation of the conical geometry of the building of the schools serves as a prelude to describing the different geometries (hyperboloid, spiral, paraboloid, etc.) applied to the general project of the Temple.
Also, the restored model of the main facade or the Glory is on display for the first time.
